NEWS (23/12/02): Not technically an update. My computer died a couple weeks ago, and I was frightened for days that I had lost my whole Danny site, complete with music and the 1,000 photo's that I have acumulated so far. Thankfully, although the main drive died, the secondary drive where I store all my web work was ok, and I could swap all the data to a new computer which I had built. First thing I did once I got the PC was burn a copy of the Danny site, just in case.....Anyway, I have more photos arriving, I didn't realise how long it's been since updates! I'll get to uploading more shots for everyone very soon. And if you're looking for Danny goodies or to meet fellow fans, don't forget the Message Board, I'm trying to get some life back into it so we can all talk together. Feel free to drop me a line on the Board, I check it every day. (It's free to register, I used to let anyone post anonymously but got sick of the cowards who wrote abusive messages and changed the settings to protect us all.) NEWS (27/8/02): New Yorkers, you're very lucky - the Danny Kaye musical is coming to your fair city! Check out the Musical in NYC for dates and info, it runs from September 5th until the 21st for thirteen performances.

NEWS (11/8/02): I haven't been able to get into my site to update it for the past couple of months, but I could still access it. The hosting co never bothered to reply to my emails asking what was wrong. Today I have discovered that they shut down my site with no notification or warning :( which I am most upset about. So this location is only new and I am still uploading all the parts to this site. Please be patient while I move everything in! I wish I had the money to buy my Danny site its own proper home with a full domain.

NEWS (28/4/02): Ah well people wander in here for a look around one by one, wish thousands of Danny fans found the place.....nevermind. Just adding more pictures to the site :) another HUNDRED of them! Enjoy :) Well now I'm up to 900 images on the site, getting close to the thousand mark.....

NEWS (4/3/02): No-ones bought a tshirt :( which is a shame, the funds raised would go towards getting this site on its own domain and host so I can have MORE room and upload a STACK more goodies. Ah well, it's been a while since I last updated, this time it's to add a new DVD to the DVDs page; Peter Cottontail. Drop by the Message Board if you want to talk Danny, I check it constantly and love meeting fellow fans.

NEWS (13/1/02): Ok, the special item is here, I had more time than I realised! Click on the 'Tshirts & more' link on the left for some Court Jester gear! Hey, if you like them let me know, I might be persuaded to increase the range of designs.

NEWS (12/1/02): Time certainly slips away quickly doesn't it, a new year has begun already. I'm still alive :) just been busy with other stuff. 'The Five Pennies' was on Australian tv this week for the umpteenth time, now if only they'd play other Danny movies I'd be quite happy. Got hundreds more images to add to the site, but having a hard drive die on you and replacing all the lost data and programs is a pain in the rear. Hopefully I'll get to it over this weekend. Meanwhile, I DO drop by the DK Message Board every day so pop on over and drop me a line, I love meeting fellow fans! Oh yeah, I've also got a special Danny item up my sleeve, which I will unveil within the next week or two.

NEWS (2/12/01): Wow, I had no idea it had been so long between updates! Sheesh, I'm naughty, I thought it had only been a few weeks. Time sure flies, doesn't it? Well, another message board bites the dust at the end of the month, so I've found another and have just linked to it (the third one now). Unfortunately with freebie sites running out of money, freebie services dry up over nite. However, I am still here, and have still been here all this time, so why not drop by the new Board and say hello? And don't forget to dig up your copy of White Christmas - the most un-Christmassy movie ever made. :)

NEWS (22/9/01): My apologies for the delay in updates, the horrendous crimes inflicted on humanity on the 11th left me feeling too devastated to think, let alone code. But we must move on and show that this attack will not defeat anyone - I've added a review of the Danny Kaye musical. It's running through Sunday at the Bethesda Writer's Center, 4508 Walsh St., Bethesda, and Oct. 4 through 27 at Theatre on the Run, 3700 S. Four Mile Run, Shirlington. Call 703-553-8782. Get yourself lots of tickets, and don't forget to tell me what you thought of it! I wish I could go, it's a bit far to get to from Australia. :(

NEWS (8/9/01): Wow, has it been that long since I updated? What a slacker, eh? Heehee seriously tho, I've just been busy, working on my other sites and other stuff, haven't had a chance to get to Danny. However, I've just added the William Tell sketch that Danny did on 'The Danny Kaye Show' - a very funny sketch. If you haven't seen it, it may not be as amusing :) but you can find the tape in the Videos section.

NEWS (10/8/01): Lucille Ball, one of the greatest female comediennes who ever walked the earth, has been honoured with a postage stamp. She also appeared with Danny in a hysterical sketch about a date in a restaurant which was included on 'Legacy of Laughter'. At the stamp ceremony Virginia Mayo was also there! You can read more about it here, and later dig up 'Mame' or one of her other classic movies at your local video store and just enjoy - Lucy was just marvellous, and completely unique.

NEWS (5/8/01): Added two articles about Danny and his love for Gilbert & Sullivan music, something I found in the notes on a MP3 file but have traced back to the authors website. Also heaps more links, an original Danny recipe, bio on Sylvia and another biographical article I found plus a review of 'Legacy of Laughter' and another video featuring Danny which I found is still available, that's on the Videos page.

NEWS (29/7/01): Just spent about 5 hours making two new wallpapers for the site, they are the beginning of the fifth page of wallpaper. Hope you like them! There's also an article I wrote for the Lively Set, a wonderful website celebrating stars from the 50's and 60's. More photos are coming as well as wallpapers, just been having some problems uploading to the site lately.

NEWS (14/7/01): I said I'd do it, suppose this is the start of it! I've now got seven Danny songs on the site. They are little ones, from a very old album he did called 'Mommy, Gimme a Drinka Water!'. Hope you like them :) I have more, they can come later.

NEWS (30/6/01) (later):Just made a couple more wallpapers - 'Wonder Man' and 'The Kid from Brooklyn' ones, in fact. Also uploaded two sound wavs, from The Court Jester. Plus a page of photos and posters that you can buy! Ain't I great!

NEWS (30/6/01):Well I've done it - 600 images! (OK, technically it's not, there's some duplicates in there, but what the hey.) And, after quite a hunt, there's even a couple little ones of Danny's appearance in 1985 on 'The New Twilight Zone' - the episode is titled 'Paladin of the lost hour'. If anyone knows where I can find more from this episode, let me know. Also made a page of 'Pinocchio' photos, another one I'd like to find more photos of, I've never seen this film. :(

NEWS (17/6/01):I chopped the navigation bar in half, was getting a tad too long with all those photos, especially now that I've added a further 3 pages. Now there are 520 images of Danny on the site! So now you get to the photos by clicking the Photos link, and a new menu appears with all the gallery shots as well as sorted by film. Now to find some more photos! And continue with the Movie Reviews, I have about a dozen more to do.

NEWS (11/6/01):Just sorting thru my Danny collection on my hard drive, I've added another page of photos - number 23 (460 images now). Also added a midi of 'Anywhere I wander', song from 'Hans Christian Anderson', to the Sounds section. Bill, a big Danny fan, sent me a Danny wallpaper for the site, which I have now added as well as 'Five Pennies' and 'Merry Andrew' wallpapers. Thanks a bunch Bill! What else, oh one of these days I'll start an MP3 section as I have quite a few songs now and I'm sure some of you guys are looking for some of them!

NEWS (10/6/01):Well the move is complete, and so far it looks like everything uploaded ok, I haven't found any broken links or missing bits and noone has reported any booboos back either. Just updating the links page while I backtrack who has links to my site and letting them know about the url change. It's so annoying, I had only now got to number two on Google when you search for Danny Kaye! Poop, oh well hopefully I'll regain that spot sometime soon, so all the fans can find the place again. Going to add some new photos soon, and if you have any Danny stuff you would like to add to the site, plse pop in the Message Board and tell me all about it. Thanks!

NEWS (3/6/01):Well the new job sucks big time, so I'm looking for a new job asap while I struggle to go to this one - demented hours, buttheads with power trips in charge and general stupidity in the place adds up to one very uncomfortable workplace. Finally written up the Walter Mitty review and added it. Now, come join me in the Message Board, there's some great things happening in there!

NEWS (20/5/01):Been working in some casual jobs, doing stuff like data entry and stocktakes, but Monday I start a new gig - much less money :( but beggars cannot be choosers eh? Meanwhile, the old Message Board is no more, the people offering the service are shutting down the freebies, so I've made a new one and changed the links. When you get a mo, pop on by and lemme know all about you! :)

NEWS (22/4/01):Come join in at the Message Board, there's some great conversations going on now. I'm planning a total revamp of my Danny site, just doing some initial doodles of styles that I think would work. Stay tuned!

NEWS (3/4/01):Well, the photos are breeding I think! Got 430 on the site now :) so go check out the new ones, and send me any I don't have! One of these days I'll sort them into movies, merchandise etc. but not at the mo - got other websites to look after too! Next will be the Walter Mitty review, I promise!

NEWS (1/4/01):Hi there - sorry about the delays in updating, been very busy job hunting and working on my other sites. I've just written up one movie review, for 'Wonder Man', and I'll get the 'Walter Mitty' one done very soon too, once I get over this RSI :). Meanwhile, I do check on my Danny Message Board every day, so why not drop by and post something? There's a new Poll on there too, which I just started.

NEWS (19/3/01):I'm extremely pleased to report that the musical - 'Danny and Sylvia' - was a huge success and was sold out for all five shows! It did so well that the Director, Jack Marshall, reports that they are doing another run, of five weeks in the fall! More news as I get it! Meanwhile, Jack very kindly sent me a copy of the program and a flyer - which is now on the downloads section for you to read.

NEWS (16/3/01):Couple new sections are now online - Videos & DVD's and Message Board. The former is a place where you can buy all the Danny movies currently available, and the latter is a Board where all of us Danny fans can post Danny-like messages! For example, if you have a question about a scene in a film, or are looking for a copy of one of his movies, or wanting to sell or swap a copy, post in there and other Danny fans can reply in kind! It takes but 30 seconds to register, then go for your lives :) I hope to see it filled with posts in the near future! Tell me what your favourite Danny movie is by taking the poll or posting about it!

NEWS (15/3/01):I know I've not updated in a couple weeks. But I just added some new photos to the site, I was accumulating some before I put them online. Silly me took the javascript off the site that allowed you to see the full images, I only just noticed. Must have done that when cleaning up last time. Sorry! But there's almost 100 new pictures in there now. My birthday is on Saturday :( I don't like my birthday, they always turn out pretty sucky. Thanks to everyone who's been signing my guestbook! You're great! Now, go buy some Danny stuff and we'll all be really happy! ;o)

NEWS (1/3/01):Well I've started a new section, Movie Reviews. So far, only one review - for 'The Kid from Brookly', but I'll slowly add to them. :) I was watching it last night and had to share for the fans who haven't seen it yet. Welcome, March! My, isn't the year speeding by? Just to do a little spring cleaning, moved the Updates to its own page, same with the Movie Reviews and Music, that way the front page doesn't take too long to load.

NEWS (27/2/01):I've just added another seven new wallpapers to the site. Did you know that just by clicking on the video and cd covers all over this site, you can buy Danny's work? NEWS (30/1/01):I have another 40 odd photos to add, and have nearly finished the very first (that I know of) Danny Kaye screensaver! That should be up and live by Wednesday 31st Jan!
